I am a multi-species guide, and work my tail off (pardon the pun) to put clients on fish in all situations.  My goal is to not only put clients in a position to catch fish, but to educate them on what I do and how I do it, so they may take away the knowledge to produce similar results on their own.
I have been fishing and hunting my whole life.  Raised in Upper Michigan, I grew up in a sportsmen’s paradise- with a Father, Grandfather and many Uncles that were constantly taking me out and teaching me the finer points of fishing and hunting.  I graduated with a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 1994 and in 1995 I moved to WI and began my Engineering career while exploring and learning the waters of Sturgeon Bay, Green Bay, and Lake Winnebago. I also have spent much time on the Wolf River System, Mississippi River, Lake Superior, and several other lakes and rivers in this great state.  I have over 30 years fishing and boating on the Great Lakes.
I am a member of the NPAA, Sheboygan Walleye Club, The Walleye Federation, Walleyes for Tomorrow, and the Green Bay Area Great Lakes Sport Fishermen.  I am a USCG Licensed Captain (since 2007) and a Wisconsin Licensed Guide.  I have also been trained in basic and advanced First Aid and CPR/AED.  I have many years of tournament experience under my belt; including several top SWC Cabela’s Qualifying finishes and a member of the SWC Team of the Year 2010and Club Champions for 2010, 2012, 2013 and qualified to fish the Cabela’s National Team Championship for 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2015.  In the 2011 NTC we finished 25th and achieved All American status.
I specialize in fishing for Walleye, Small Mouth Bass and Pike on the trophy rich waters of Green Bay, and Sturgeon Bay.  I also spend considerable time guiding on The Fox River, Lake Winnebago, and the Wolf River along with chartering for Trout and Salmon on Lake Michigan out of Kewaunee and Sturgeon Bay.
I spend my winter months guiding for Walleye, Whitefish and Trophy Pike on Green Bay during the ice season.  I have permanent rental ice shacks and several portable shacks which I use to stay on top of the hottest bites on Green Bay for my clients.
I am a Lowrance Electronics Pro Staff Member and provide basic and advanced Lowrance Electronics instruction and support on and off the water.  I give seminars around NE Wisconsin at Cabela’s and Gander Mountain stores and various Marine Dealers.   I am the main Lowrance Pro Staff support for the Green Bay Gander Mountain and Cabela’s store.  That support includes customer interface, store staff training, customer training seminars, and troubleshooting.
I truly live to fish and teach fishing techniques to others and share my knowledge and product expertise.  I promote my industry partnerships by presenting several seminars across WI ever year on open water and hard water techniques to educate people on this great sport.   I thrive on doing what I can to expand the sport of fishing in education, conservation, and product marketing partnerships.
